Kaizer Chiefs legend Brian Baloyi might just motivate Tashreeq Morris to prove him wrong.

Brian Baloyi on New Kaizer Chiefs Signings

“I’m still not fully convinced about [Tashreeq] Morris. Out of all the January signings, he’s the one I’m most unsure about,” Baloyi told FARPost. “I haven’t seen enough to say he’s a good addition to Chiefs, but I hope he can turn things around and start scoring. At least he’s getting some playing time.”

Baloyi did, however, praise some of the other new signings, stating, “The other new players have adjusted well. Cele is doing well in midfield and showing signs of being a solid signing for Chiefs. Lilepo has also brought something to the attack, scoring goals and creating chances for the team.”

Siyabonga Nomvethe Reflects on Itumeleng Khune

Siyabonga Nomvethe, another Kaizer Chiefs legend, has faced off with nearly every goalkeeper in South Africa—except for one.

“There are many goalkeepers I’ve faced, but the only one I didn’t quite manage to beat was Itumeleng Khune,” Nomvethe told iDiski Times.

“Khune is the only one who got lucky. I’ve scored against the rest, but with him, it just didn’t happen. I’d look at the other keepers and think, ‘Once I get the ball, it’s going in.’ But with Khune, it never worked out that way.”
