Orlando Pirates have decided against heading to Spain for their pre-season camp this year.

As they prepare for a crucial 2025/26 season, the club will once again venture to Europe for their pre-season training. However, this time, they will be making a change to their destination.

With current Spanish head coach Jose Riveiro set to depart at the end of the season, the Pirates are expected to introduce a new coach before their pre-season camp begins.

Recent reports have revealed that this year’s destination for their camp will be Germany. After two years in Spain, Orlando Pirates are said to be finalizing their plans to set up base in Germany, with all logistical arrangements nearly complete.

Furthermore, the new head coach will be joining the team on their European tour. The Buccaneers are aiming to compete for the Betway Premiership, CAF Champions League, MTN8, Carling Knockout, and Nedbank Cup titles next season.
