Orlando Pirates are attracting significant international interest for some of their top players, and one of their brightest stars, Patrick Maswanganyi, is at the center of it all.

Maswanganyi, the talented forward, is reportedly on the verge of a return to Europe, with Portuguese club UD Oliveirense keen to bring him back.

Pirates Set Price for Maswanganyi’s Potential Move to Europe

Oliveirense is eager to reunite with Maswanganyi, impressed by his growth since leaving Portugal. The club is determined to bring him back, but the transfer hinges on whether they can meet the price set by Pirates.

“They are very interested in bringing him back to Portugal. They’ve been monitoring his progress and are happy with what they’ve seen. It will depend on what Pirates expect in return or if Oliveirense can meet the asking price,” a source revealed.

Negotiations are already underway, with things moving beyond just initial inquiries.

“It’s no longer just a question, but real negotiations,” a source confirmed earlier this year.

Pirates have reportedly slapped a R40-million price tag on Maswanganyi, leaving it up to Oliveirense to decide if the price is justified for the talented attacker.
