Orlando Pirates are preparing for a busy transfer window, with a few player exits and potential signings on the horizon.

After a quiet recent transfer window with no new arrivals, the Bucs are now gearing up for changes to their squad. One of the players facing a likely exit is midfielder Miguel Timm.

Miguel Timm’s Potential Exit
According to reports, Timm, who has been a regular in the midfield in the past, could be loaned out to a PSL rival or even sold permanently at the end of the season. Injuries and the rise of Patrick Maswanganyi and Thalenthe Mbatha have limited Timm’s opportunities under coach Jose Riveiro. The 8-million-rand-valued midfielder could now be moving on after struggling to regain his starting spot.

Pirates Eyeing New Additions
Unlike the January transfer window, which saw no signings, Orlando Pirates are set to make moves in the upcoming window. The club is reportedly targeting a striker from one of their PSL rivals, along with other players to bolster the squad.

Zakhele Lepasa Could Be Involved in a Swap Deal
One player who could be part of the changes is Zakhele Lepasa. Pirates may use him as a sweetener in a potential deal to bring in Polokwane City defender Thabang Matuludi. This move would give Lepasa the game time he needs, as he has yet to feature for Pirates this season due to injury. The 27-year-old striker had previously attracted interest from SuperSport United.

With these potential exits and arrivals, the next transfer window looks set to be a pivotal one for Orlando Pirates.
