Mhango Almost Joined Kaizer Chiefs
Gabadinho Mhango, the talented Malawian striker now with Marumo Gallants, was on the verge of joining Kaizer Chiefs at one point. With an impressive record of 17 goals from 68 caps for Malawi and 23 goals in 71 appearances for Pirates, Mhango’s move to Chiefs seemed almost certain.
“I was really close to joining Chiefs,” Mhango shared with FARPost. “I even traveled from Durban to Johannesburg for the move, but for reasons I still don’t understand, things didn’t work out. I was disappointed, but now I’m enjoying my football and happy with where I am,” he added.
