Orlando Pirates are making bold moves in the transfer market as they look to bolster their squad with Bafana Bafana talent.
According to reports, the Buccaneers have set their sights on multiple national team prospects, with Thato Khiba, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, and Thabo Moloisane all firmly on their radar.
Kwayiba Tops the Wishlist
Sinoxolo Kwayiba, in particular, is said to be a top priority for the Soweto giants. Sources close to the club reveal that Pirates are prepared to table a player-plus-cash deal to convince Chippa United to release the talented midfielder.
“Pirates are leading the race for Kwayiba. The coaching staff are really impressed with what they’ve seen and want to finalize the deal soon,” a source told SNL24.
Pirates’ Trade Strategy
To sweeten the deal, Pirates are considering offering Azola Matrose and Goodman Mosele—two players who could be used as bargaining chips. Matrose is currently on loan at Chippa, while Mosele is recovering from injury and could also be loaned out again.
