As the new season kicks off in August, Orlando Pirates are gearing up to announce their next head coach along with a couple of new players to strengthen the squad. After all, that’s what top clubs do to stay competitive.

New Coach on the Horizon?

So far, Pirates haven’t named a replacement for Jose Riveiro. But according to Soccer Laduma, a familiar face might be making a comeback to the Rand Stadium: Pablo Franco Martin. Is Rulani Mokwena Returning?

In other coaching news, 38-year-old Rulani Mokwena recently parted ways with Moroccan powerhouse Wydad Casablanca, where he managed 11 wins, 12 draws, and 4 losses in the Botola Pro 1 league. Rumors are swirling about a possible return to Orlando Pirates, where Mokwena has history.
