Gaston Sirino’s early penalty was quickly cancelled out by a brilliant equalizer from Orlando Pirates’ Evidence Makgopa. However, in the 79th minute, Kaizer Chiefs captain Yusuf Maart scored a powerful goal to secure the win.

“First, I’m very happy for the fans, all the fans. I’m happy for the chairman and everyone in the family. But for myself, it’s all about the process. The process requires coaching,” Nabi said in an interview with SuperSport TV.

He continued, “I’m honest with myself. This is a process, and I asked for help to continue building respect for it as we move forward. I gave everything to the team, then went home. This is just the first one, and congratulations to the team.”

Nabi also reflected on the match, admitting that after Pirates’ equalizer, Chiefs began to lose their organization, which allowed their opponents to seize control of the game.
