Mamelodi Sundowns winger Kutlwano Letlhaku, who made his debut just 11 months ago, is already attracting interest from clubs in Sweden and Denmark. With three goals and three assists in 14 appearances, Letlhaku’s performance has caught the attention of top clubs in both countries.
“Several top teams from Denmark, Sweden, and other leagues have made inquiries about Kutlwano,” revealed his agent, Matthew Moore, speaking to iDiski Times. “However, Sundowns has not been willing to engage with these clubs, even though the last game he started was in November, where he scored twice against Polokwane City. Since then, he has had limited playing time under the new coach.”
Moore also acknowledged the challenges young players face at successful clubs like Sundowns, which has a competitive environment.
Mamelodi Sundowns’ veteran midfielder, Themba Zwane, continues his recovery from an Achilles tendon injury sustained in October 2024. As the team looks ahead to the FIFA Club World Cup in June, Zwane has shared an update on his progress.
“I’m doing alright in terms of my injury. I’m starting to run on the side at training, and I don’t feel pain anymore,” Zwane told iDiski Times. “The Achilles is still tense, but I’m improving. It’s been difficult, especially when people said my career might be over, but I have the support of my family and teammates.”
Despite the challenges, the 35-year-old is determined to make a strong comeback. “I know I’m strong, and I’ll push myself to get back into the team,” he concluded.
