The 36-year-old, who spent over 20 years with the Amakhosi, was spotted at the Soweto Stadium with his wife, Sphelele, watching the Pirates’ 3-1 victory over Baroka FC.
Khune’s presence at the match sparked criticism from many Kaizer Chiefs supporters, who accused the legendary goalkeeper of being a “traitor” for attending a game of their bitter rivals.
