Kaizer Chiefs Suffer Heavy Defeat
In their previous match, Kaizer Chiefs were handed a heavy 4-1 loss by SuperSport United. After the game, Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi addressed the media, offering an apology to the fans. He said, βI want to speak to the fans because I donβt shy away from responsibility. I want to take this moment to explain the situation, not to make excuses.β
Nabi acknowledged the pain of the result, admitting, βThis is a result that hurts them, and it also hurts me. But this isnβt the game they should use to judge our team or its potential.β
He further explained, βSuch things can happen in any competition, and sometimes the score can be even worse. Itβs impossible to go from being a strong team one match to being weak just days later.β
The coach added, βI understand my players, and today I saw they gave their best, just like in previous games. They were tired, and thatβs why I ask the media to show the same understanding during tough times as they do in the good ones.β
