Kaizer Chiefs coach, Nasreddine Nabi, has expressed his frustration and disappointment following his team’s heavy 4-1 defeat to SuperSport United in their Betway Premiership match on Tuesday night. The loss at FNB Stadium was a crushing blow, as the Pretoria-based SuperSport side completed a league double over Amakhosi for the first time since 2011.

Two former Chiefs players, Samir Nurkovic and Christian Saile, were on the scoresheet for SuperSport, while Ghampani Lungu and Siphesihle Ndlovu also found the back of the net. Chiefs’ only goal came from January signing, Glody Lilepo.

Nabi acknowledged his team’s poor performance but refrained from making excuses. He provided a thorough explanation of what went wrong during the match, but his words revealed the depth of the disappointment within the Chiefs camp after another heavy defeat.
