Kaizer Chiefs are still exploring their options in defense as they consider the future of right-back Mhleli Mabuza, who recently trained with the team. Although his stint at Naturena stirred transfer speculation, the club has yet to make a final decision.
Mabuza, who currently plays for Louletano Desportos Clube in Portugal, joined the Glamour Boys for training towards the end of the 2024/2025 season. With Chiefs aiming to strengthen their backline for the upcoming campaign, his presence immediately sparked rumours of a possible signing.

“Chiefs are carefully weighing their choices. No official offer has been made for Mabuza yet,” a source shared.
“He trained with the squad and the technical team got a good look at him, but nothing has been finalized.”
