Kaizer Chiefs’ struggles continue in the 2024-2025 Betway Premiership as they drop more points, adding to their challenging season.

Chiefs Drop Points Against AmaZulu In a 2-2 draw with AmaZulu on Tuesday, 24-year-old Tshepang Moremi, a long-term target for Chiefs, scored for Usuthu. Chiefs are now 14 points behind league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, with three extra games played. The most realistic chance for silverware this season now seems to be in the Nedbank Cup, where they will face Chippa United in the Round of 16 on Saturday, February 15.

Mhango Almost Joined Chiefs Gabadinho Mhango, the seasoned Malawian striker currently at Marumo Gallants, almost made the move to Chiefs. The 17-goal international had a successful career at Orlando Pirates, netting 23 goals in 71 appearances. Mhango shared with FARPost, “I was on the verge of joining Chiefs and even traveled from Durban to Johannesburg to complete the move. However, things took a turn, and it never happened. While I was disappointed, I’m happy with where I ended up.”

Simbine Inspires at Chiefs Village Kaizer Chiefs recently welcomed Olympic silver medalist Akani Simbine to their Naturena Village. The long-time Chiefs fan shared his excitement about visiting the club’s headquarters and meeting the players. “I’ve always been a Chiefs fan since I was a child, and being here is a dream,” Simbine said. He shared his journey with the players, emphasizing the importance of consistency, growth, and pushing to improve. “I hope my story can inspire you to keep working toward your goals,” he added.

With the season’s challenges ahead, both on and off the pitch, Chiefs continue to search for the right formula to bring success to Naturena.
