Siyethemba Sithebe Leaves Richards Bay Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siyethemba Sithebe, is on the lookout for a new team after leaving Richards Bay. The 32-year-old from Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, made only eight appearances in seven months with the club. It was reported that Sithebe’s departure followed a disagreement with the coaching staff. Speaking to FARPost, Sithebe said, “Sometimes, as a senior player, you do things without realizing the consequences. It all happened in the changing room after a game. I spoke up because I felt some of the coaching decisions could have been better.”

Tashreeq Morris Joins Kaizer Chiefs Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi was in desperate need of a strong center forward, and SuperSport United’s Tashreeq Morris has joined the team. The 30-year-old signed for Amakhosi after leaving SuperSport, while Christian Saile went the other way. SuperSport chairman Stan Matthews explained, “Morris came to me at 31 and said Kaizer Chiefs made him an offer he couldn’t turn down, and I couldn’t offer him even half of what they did. So, I had to make a practical decision for the club.” Matthews mentioned that while he had other strikers like Samir Nurkovic and Bradley Grobler, none of them had the pace of Saile, which Morris brings to the table.
