Kaizer Chiefs’ 2024/25 season has had its ups and downs under the guidance of Nasreddine Nabi. The Tunisian coach has faced a challenging start in the PSL but has demonstrated flashes of tactical brilliance, particularly in bringing the best out of emerging talents like Wandile Duba and Mduduzi Shabalala.

Reports from IOL suggest that Nabi is being considered for the head coaching role with the Tunisian national team. However, it seems likely that he will continue with Chiefs, as RS Berkane’s Mouin Chaabani is currently seen as the top contender for the job.

Looking ahead, Chiefs are expected to continue their transfer activity, following a successful summer window where they secured Tashreeq Morris, Thabo Cele, and Glody Lilepo. The club may once again turn to the transfer market in the offseason, with Mamelodi Sundowns’ star, Themba Zwane, a key target.

Zwane, whose contract will expire at the end of the current season, could be an appealing option for Chiefs. KickOff reports that the club has shown interest in the 35-year-old, following a tradition of signing out-of-contract Sundowns players, such as Gaston Sirino and Khama Billiat. With Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos still valuing Zwane, it wouldn’t be surprising if Chiefs made a move to bring the experienced midfielder to Naturena.
