In a twist of fate, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will meet twice in quick succession towards the end of the 2024-2025 season. First, the two giants will clash in the Betway Premiership on Saturday, May 3 at 15:00, followed by a thrilling showdown in the Nedbank Cup final on May 10. Chiefs will be without Mfundo Vilakazi, who will be representing South Africa at the Afcon U-20 tournament, while Pirates’ Mbekezeli Mbokazi will also miss out for the same reason.
