Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi was visibly frustrated when questioned about his suitability to lead the club after their 2-1 loss to Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium on Saturday. This defeat marked Chiefs’ 12th in the league, escalating doubts about Nabi’s leadership.

When a reporter asked if he was the right man for the job, Nabi responded sharply, “I don’t think you are the right person to decide if I stay or not. I’m here for the process, and immediate results aren’t always guaranteed.”

Nabi further emphasized his experience, stating, “I came here for the process. You can’t question why I’m here just because of the results. Don’t provoke me because I’m not a young coach; I have plenty of experience. Ask me about the tactics of the game, but don’t provoke me. I’m not nervous about the loss.”

With his future at Kaizer Chiefs uncertain, Nabi has one last opportunity to salvage the season when Amakhosi face Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final next weekend, hoping to end their trophy drought.
