Kaizer Chiefs’ team manager, Bobby Motaung, is ready to back his words with action following the club’s Nedbank Cup triumph.
Bobby Motaung’s Confident Transfer Promise
Motaung is feeling optimistic about the future and is already looking ahead to the upcoming transfer window.
“It’s been a long and tough journey, but this victory is well-deserved for the players, our supporters, and the chairman, who’s shown incredible patience. Nearly ten years without a trophy, and now we can finally bring joy to our fans,” Motaung shared with SuperSport TV.
“I’m grateful to this team and the generation we have now, they’ve fought hard. For me, it’s all about team spirit and unity under a disciplined system. We have a young team, but we’re still looking to strengthen.”
Motaung went on to discuss the club’s ambitions as they prepare for African competition. “We’re going to Africa, and we’ll definitely be looking to reinforce the squad. But what matters most is the journey we’ve been through – the injuries, the pressure the team has been under – these boys have earned this trophy and the joy that comes with it,” he added.
Vuyo Letlapa Set for Ligue 1 Move?
Meanwhile, Sekhukhune United left-back Vuyo Letlapa is reportedly on the verge of a move to Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, according to Soccer-Laduma. The 21-year-old has had an impressive season, making 22 league appearances and contributing four assists.
Letlapa had previously attracted interest from both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, but it seems that Nice is leading the race to sign him.
