Kaizer Chiefs defender Dillan Solomons has broken his silence on the swirling rumors about coach Nasreddine Nabi’s possible exit. Despite the uncertainty, Solomons insists the squad remains locked in on their job.
Recent talk suggests Nabi could be let go, even after guiding the team to a long-awaited trophy — their first in ten years. But Solomons made it clear: what’s said outside the club walls doesn’t shake the team’s focus.
“People are always going to talk,” Solomons told Sowetan. “That’s out of our hands. Our responsibility is simple — show up, train hard, and give everything. That’s how we support the coach.”
He continued, “At the end of the day, we can only control what happens on the pitch and at training. Whatever noise is going on outside — that’s for others to worry about. We just keep working.”
Looking ahead, Solomons highlighted the importance of their upcoming clash against Polokwane, calling it “one of the biggest games of the season.”
