In the match, Tashreeq Matthews gave Sundowns the lead in the first half, and summer signing Iqraam Rayners secured the win with a second-half goal. The victory came on the heels of a dominant 3-0 win over Richards Bay, further solidifying their strong title challenge, as the race with Orlando Pirates heats up.
In his post-match interview with SuperSport, Cardoso acknowledged that the game wasn’t easy, particularly in the first half. He mentioned making tactical adjustments at halftime, which paid off in the second period, helping his team maintain their winning momentum.
