Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the signing of highly-rated winger Sechaba Gaseitsiwe, beating several top South African clubs to his signature. Gaseitsiwe, who showcased his talent at this year’s Engen Champ of Champs tournament, had attracted interest from a number of Premier Soccer League teams, including Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Stellenbosch FC, Cape Town City, TS Galaxy, Sekhukhune United, and his current club, Galeshewe Stars.
The teenager’s impressive performances did not go unnoticed, with many of the country’s top clubs keen to bring him on board. His agency, P Management Sports, which also represents Orlando Pirates’ Monnapule Saleng, Kaizer Chiefs’ Yusuf Maart, and Wydad Athletic Club’s Cassius Mailula, confirmed that Sundowns have successfully signed the promising player.
Sundowns’ capture of Gaseitsiwe is a significant move, as they continue to bolster their squad with some of the brightest young talents in the country, reinforcing their position as the dominant force in South African football.
