Gabadinho Mhango is on the move once again as he prepares to part ways with Marumo Gallants at the end of the current season. After an eventful stint with the Limpopo-based club, the 32-year-old Malawian striker is ready for a fresh challenge, with his next destination still under wraps.

Mhango’s agent, Mike Makaab, confirmed that the former Orlando Pirates forward will be leaving Gallants when his contract expires, though he kept details about his next move under tight wraps. According to Makaab, the striker has been fully committed to his role at the club but will be heading elsewhere in the near future.

“I can confirm that Gabadinho Mhango will be leaving Marumo Gallants at the end of the season,” Makaab told FARPost. “He will be joining a new club, but at this stage, I can’t reveal where he’s going yet.”

Despite a promising start at Marumo Gallants, Mhango’s time at the club has been filled with highs and lows. The Malawian international has shown flashes of brilliance but has also struggled with consistency, leading to a more sporadic role in the team. However, Makaab praised his client’s professionalism and commitment to the club.

“When you look at Mhango’s contributions at Gallants, he has given it his all,” Makaab added. “He’s worked hard and remained focused throughout the season. But as with any professional, the time has come for a new opportunity, and Gabadinho is looking forward to the next chapter in his career.”

Mhango, who is known for his clinical finishing and pace, had a standout spell with Orlando Pirates before his move to Gallants. During his time at Pirates, Mhango caught the eye with his goal-scoring abilities and became a fan favorite, though his tenure at the Buccaneers was also marked by some inconsistencies in performance. His move to Gallants allowed him to regain regular game time, but now it seems he’s ready for a new challenge once again.

The question on every fan’s mind now is where the former Pirates striker will land next. While the details are still under wraps, Mhango’s reputation as a goal-scoring threat is sure to attract interest from clubs both in South Africa and abroad. Whether he remains in the PSL or seeks a new adventure overseas, Mhango’s next move will be one to watch closely as the transfer window approaches.

For now, though, Mhango’s focus remains on finishing the current season strong with Gallants, ensuring he leaves the club on a high note. The 32-year-old forward has proven himself as a capable striker throughout his career, and fans will be eagerly awaiting his next move as he looks to further cement his place as one of Southern Africa’s top talents.
