Orlando Pirates are making early moves in the transfer market, having reportedly secured four signings ahead of the next window, which is a significant step up compared to their January activity when no new players were added.

Recent reports indicate that Sinoxolo Kwayiba has been the latest addition to the Pirates squad, marking the fourth confirmed signing. This follows earlier reports that the club had already wrapped up deals for Kabelo Kgositsile and Sihle Nduli.

According to sources from KickOff, Kgositsile’s transfer was finalized without any issues, with both clubs having a strong working relationship, making the process smooth. The deal is set to see Kgositsile join Pirates next season.

Following that, Sihle Nduli, the Stellenbosch FC midfielder, is said to be the latest recruit, with some insiders suggesting that this move could be seen as a missed opportunity for rivals Kaizer Chiefs, who were reportedly close to signing him in the last transfer window. With aging players like Makhehlene Makhaula, who has been crucial for Pirates but is now over 30, Pirates are clearly strengthening their midfield.

Additionally, Tau, a talented youngster from the DDC, has been promoted to the first team, taking the total number of signings to four. Along with the reported R7-million signing of Nduli, it’s clear that the Buccaneers are preparing for a busy and competitive next season.

So far, Pirates have secured three players from PSL rivals, and with Tau’s promotion, these four players will help bolster the squad for future challenges.
