Orlando Pirates aren’t waiting for the transfer window to open—they’re already deep into business behind the scenes. Reports suggest the Buccaneers have not only drawn up an ambitious list of targets but have also quietly wrapped up several early signings.

The club is believed to have already secured four new players, with more expected to follow. And it’s not just fringe names—Bafana Bafana stars, PSL rivals, and even a few players also wanted by Kaizer Chiefs are on the radar.

Who’s Already in the Bag?

According to The South African, Pirates have signed Kabelo Kgositsile from Baroka FC, one of their first confirmed moves ahead of the new season. That’s just the beginning.

Reports claim Sihle Nduli from Stellenbosch FC has also put pen to paper, and Bafana Bafana midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba is said to have completed a switch from Chippa United, as reported by Phakaaathi.

More Names on the Way?

The list doesn’t stop there. Pirates are now heavily linked with:

  • Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay FC)
  • Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu FC)
  • Jayden Rhodes (Cape Town City)

All three are reportedly expected to join the Buccaneers, according to KickOff.

Clashing with Kaizer Chiefs in the Market

What makes this transfer push even more interesting is that Kaizer Chiefs had their eyes on some of the same players. Moremi is one of the six names on Amakhosi’s transfer shortlist, and they came close to signing Nduli in the previous window.

Pirates are clearly looking to build serious depth and quality, going after both emerging talent and proven performers. With these moves, they’re not just planning for the next season—they’re sending a message to the rest of the PSL: they’re aiming for dominance.
