Orlando Pirates are focusing on their long-term future, particularly in the midfield, as their current crop of experienced players is beginning to age.
The club is reportedly eyeing Marumo Gallantsβ 24-year-old midfielder, Masindi Nemtajela, as a key target for strengthening their midfield. According to Soccer Laduma, Pirates have already offered Nemtajela a three-year contract, highlighting their intent to secure a young and dynamic player to bolster their squad.
The club is also expected to make changes to their current midfield lineup, possibly parting ways with some players, which has led to the pursuit of Nemtajela.
Ahead of their crucial match against Golden Arrows, Orlando Pirates will be missing the services of key players Nkosinathi Sibisi and Thalente Mbatha. With the title race heating up and the team trailing Mamelodi Sundowns by 12 points, every match is critical, especially with two games still in hand.
