Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari could be heading for a new challenge in Europe, as interest from France heats up.
The Rwandan international, who joined Amakhosi from TS Galaxy at the start of the season for a reported R5.5 million, has struggled to establish himself in the first team. With just seven appearances, a single clean sheet, and 11 goals conceded, Ntwari has slipped to third choice behind Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma.
But despite his limited minutes at Naturena, Ntwari’s stock remains high abroad—especially with scouts in France. According to Rwandan national team coach Adel Amrouche, a Ligue 2 club has already reached out to inquire about the 25-year-old goalkeeper.
“There is a second division club from France; they also asked me about him,” Amrouche confirmed in an interview with FARPost.
Ntwari is currently valued at over R10 million on Transfermarkt, meaning Kaizer Chiefs could potentially double their investment if a deal is struck. With his international reputation intact and growing European interest, Ntwari could soon be trading the PSL for a shot at European football.
