Former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns legend, Teko Modise, has voiced his support for Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi, emphasizing the importance of giving him time to implement his vision.
Speaking to iDiski Times, Modise stated, “I think coach Nabi deserves more time. If he’s given the opportunity to sign a few players who fit his system, I believe he can turn things around. Most of the players from last season are still there, and we saw how difficult it was for Chiefs to find consistency.”
Modise added that while changing coaches may bring short-term results, it’s the players’ willingness to adapt to the coach’s ideas that ultimately determines success. “It’s not every coach in South African football who succeeds in their first season. Nabi might be the answer for Chiefs if they invest in him and give him a proper chance.”
