Kaizer Chiefs are still vying for Nedbank Cup glory this season, and there are key matchups on the horizon. Here’s what’s ahead for Nasreddine Nabi’s squad.

Next Up: Chiefs vs. Chippa After a dominant 4-0 victory over Free Agents FC, Kaizer Chiefs are set to face Chippa United in the Round of 16 at home on Saturday, February 15 at 18:00. Following that, they’ll meet former coach Gavin Hunt and his SuperSport United side in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday, February 18 at 19:30.

Feisal Salum to Chiefs? Midfield maestro Feisal Salum has confirmed he will not renew his contract with Azam FC. The Tanzanian playmaker has been heavily linked to a move to Kaizer Chiefs.

β€œFeisal Salum has made his decision and informed the club that he will not extend his contract,” reported Africafoot.com. β€œHe’s enjoying his time at Azam, but he’s seeking new challenges at the end of the season.”

Though it’s still uncertain, a move to Kaizer Chiefs appears to be a serious possibility.

Chiefs Love the Winelands Despite recent struggles, Chiefs seem to have a knack for winning at Stellenbosch’s stadium. In their most recent 1-0 win against FC Stellenbosch, new signing Glody Lilepo netted the only goal. Lilepo, who was also crucial in the 2-2 draw with AmaZulu, is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Chiefs have now won their last three consecutive visits to Stellenbosch, and fans are starting to think, β€œWhy can’t we play here every week?”
