Feisal Salum, a 27-year-old attacking midfielder, has announced that he will not be renewing his contract with Azam FC in Tanzania. The goal-scoring playmaker has been frequently linked with Kaizer Chiefs.
“Feisal Salum has made his decision clear to the club that he won’t extend his contract,” reports Africafoot.com.
“While he’s enjoyed his time at Azam, a big club, he’s looking to explore new opportunities after the season ends.
“Could he move to Kaizer Chiefs? It’s still early to say for certain, but it’s definitely a strong possibility.”
Salary Demands Could Pose a Challenge for Chiefs
Feisal Salum, a Tanzanian international, is seeking a significant pay increase from Azam FC. Both Kaizer Chiefs and Simba SC are closely monitoring his situation. According to The Citizen, Chiefs have the financial resources to offer him better terms than Azam, but convincing him to leave his home country could prove difficult.
