The dramatic and dangerous rampage ended only after a high-speed chase involving Umlazi K9 police units brought the truck to a crashing halt on Underwood Road in Pinetown.

According to initial reports, the altercation began at a local freight company, where the driver was employed. Moments later, the man jumped into one of the company’s trucks and sped off.
