A 32-year-old man has been arrested in Dundee, northern KwaZulu-Natal, after police uncovered dagga worth an estimated R4 million in his possession. The major drug bust marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to clamp down on cross-border narcotics trafficking.

Authorities suspect the dagga was smuggled from neighbouring Swaziland and transported through Paulpetersburg (eDumbe), a known transit route for illegal substances. The operation was part of a targeted crackdown by SAPS intelligence units working to disrupt drug networks operating in the region.
The suspect is expected to appear in court soon on charges related to drug trafficking and possession. Investigations are continuing, with police not ruling out further arrests.
