The South African Police Service (SAPS) has announced a R150,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Jabulani Thabang Moyo, a Zimbabwean national wanted in connection with the brutal killing of two Florida SAPS detectives in Roodepoort on 8 August.

Moyo allegedly overpowered the officers while being transported from court, shot them both, and escaped in an unmarked police vehicle that was later found abandoned. The deadly attack has sparked national outrage and a high-level manhunt.

Led by the Hawks, the search for Moyo is now a top priority, with police warning that he is armed and extremely dangerous. Authorities are urging the public not to approach him, but to report any sightings or information immediately.

Tip-offs can be submitted via 072 844 4442, 08600 10111, or the MySAPSApp. The SAPS has stressed that any assistance could be vital in bringing the suspect to justice.
