The City of Ekurhuleni has announced a planned power outage that will affect several residential and industrial areas supplied by the Ester Park substation in Kempton Park. From Friday, December 13 to Monday, December 16, technicians will be carrying out necessary upgrades to the electrical components at the substation, which will result in power interruptions from 08:00 to 20:00 each day.
The planned outage will impact a number of areas, including Spartan Extension 1, Spartan Extension 3, Spartan Extension 7, Spartan Extension 16, as well as Camwood and Gifboom roads. Residents and businesses within these areas will be without electricity during the scheduled maintenance period.
