South African television personality Moshe Ndiki recently opened up about the emotional rollercoaster of his divorce and the personal growth that followed during an episode of the Engineer Your Life podcast. Reflecting on his marriage, Moshe shared that, at the time, tying the knot felt like the right decision. He and his partner shared a common vision, and Moshe felt ready, confident in who he was. However, he acknowledged that his partner was grappling with personal struggles, which strained their relationship. βI wouldnβt say he was a bad personβhe was just going through his own struggles. I tried my best to support his healing,β Moshe explained.
As time went on, Moshe realized he had enabled toxic behavior in the relationship, which ultimately pushed him to act out of character. He revealed that he cheated, but only after forgiving his partnerβs infidelities multiple times. βI cheated because I had already forgiven cheating seven times. Iβll never forget that. I retaliated by cheating instead of just leaving. I sacrificed myself just to prove a point,β he admitted.
Through this experience, Moshe learned valuable lessons about love and self-worth. Moving forward, he expressed a desire for a more balanced partnershipβone where both individuals contribute equally to each other’s happiness. βI donβt want to be their happinessβI want to add to their happiness,β he stated.
For now, Moshe is focusing on nurturing his relationships with friends and family, finding joy in the simple things, and embracing fatherhood with his two sons. His journey is a testament to resilience, self-discovery, and the pursuit of healthier, more fulfilling connections.
