North West police have launched an urgent manhunt for three African male suspects following the fatal shooting of an elderly white couple, aged 66 and 69, at the Platinum Shopping Centre in Rustenburg.
The deadly incident occurred around 13h40 on Friday, 14 June 2025, sending shockwaves through the local community. The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene in a white Kia Rio with broken windows on the front and rear left sides—a key detail police are hoping will aid in their capture.
Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in tracking down the suspects. The motive behind the attack remains under investigation.
