EFF leader Julius Malema has issued a fiery call for the total removal of the ANC from power in Mpumalanga ahead of the 2026 elections, accusing the ruling party of corruption and turning its back on the very voters who once trusted it.
Speaking to supporters, Malema credited the EFF for playing a key role in the ANCβs steady decline in the province, and pledged to finish the job by unseating them at the polls. He painted the upcoming elections as a turning point for change and accountability.
Malema also turned his attention to internal party dynamics, insisting that womenβwho make up the majority of EFF membersβmust occupy no less than 50% of leadership roles. He urged the party to lead by example in championing gender equality in politics, reinforcing the EFFβs stance on progressive representation and grassroots empowerment.
