Mayibuye iAfrika is broadening its focus beyond health, with Deputy President Floyd Shivambu announcing new plans to support people with disabilities and provide legal assistance to those who cannot afford representation.
Speaking about the partyβs evolving agenda, Shivambu highlighted that Mayibuye iAfrika already includes qualified medical professionals β a foundation he says will now expand to prioritize inclusivity and access to justice. βWe are committed to making sure no one is left behind, especially persons with disabilities who are often overlooked,β he said.
Shivambu also revealed the partyβs intention to launch a dedicated legal division aimed at offering free legal support to disadvantaged communities, describing it as a necessary step in the fight against inequality.
As Mayibuye iAfrika positions itself as a voice for the marginalized, these initiatives signal a growing emphasis on grassroots empowerment, human rights, and practical support β not just promises, but policies designed to create real impact on the ground.
