Floyd Shivambu has delivered a bold prediction: even without the emergence of opposition parties like the EFF or Mayibuye iAfrika, the African National Congress (ANC) is destined to fade away.

Speaking candidly about South Africa’s political landscape, Shivambu argued that the ANC’s internal decay and loss of public trust make its downfall inevitable. “The ANC is on a path to disappearance — with or without us,” he said, emphasizing the need for a fresh, authentic alternative.

Shivambu positioned Mayibuye iAfrika as that alternative — a party he says will genuinely represent the interests of all South Africans, unburdened by the compromises and corruption that have plagued established players.

Urging citizens to rally behind this new movement, he claimed Mayibuye iAfrika offers hope for real transformation and a future where political power serves the people, not the elite.

As South Africa’s political scene shifts, Shivambu’s call to action signals a new chapter — one where old loyalties are challenged, and new voices fight to shape the country’s destiny.
