Five Brutally Hacked to Death in Inanda: Police Launch Manhunt for Suspects

Five men were tragically found deceased on Friday morning in the Bambayi area of Inanda, KwaZulu-Natal, leading to a police investigation and the launch of a manhunt for those responsible.

According to police spokesperson Robert Nethsuinda, the victims, aged between 19 and 26, were discovered in two separate locations. Three of the men were found near a sports ground close to a school, while the other two bodies were located about a kilometer away in a nearby field. Authorities believe that the victims may have been taken from their homes during the night, and their bodies were discovered early the next morning.

The police have indicated that there are signs of serious injury, though the full details of the circumstances are still under investigation. The exact motive behind the incident has not yet been established, and authorities are working to understand the events leading up to this tragic discovery.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to multiple calls for assistance from the local community and arrived at the scene to assist the police. Paramedics were also present, but the victims were unfortunately found without signs of life.
