City officials have stated that the list is outdated, pertaining to the 2023/24 programme, and is not relevant to the current recruitment cycle.

The City of Ekurhuleni has issued a warning to residents about a fraudulent list of candidates for the 2024/25 Ekurhuleni Public Employment Programme (EPEP) circulating on social media. City officials confirmed that the list is outdated and pertains to the 2023/24 programme, making it irrelevant to the current recruitment cycle.

City spokesperson Zweli Dlamini urged the public to ignore the misleading list and emphasized that official communications regarding EPEP recruitment will only be shared through the city’s verified channels. “The city remains committed to strict adherence to policies governing the recruitment and selection of beneficiaries for all temporary employment opportunities,” Dlamini stated.

Residents are advised to stay vigilant and rely only on authentic sources for information related to employment programmes.
