In a bold public rebuttal to damaging accusations, Nhlamulo Ndhlela, national spokesperson for the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, has shared a clean drug screening report to counter claims made by former MK Party secretary-general Floyd Shivambu.

On June 24, Ndhlela posted the test results on his X account alongside the hashtag #SayNoToDrugs, reinforcing his commitment to fighting substance abuse and condemning the trivialization of drug issues.
This action follows Shivambu’s inflammatory comments on eNCA, where he alleged that Ndhlela is frequently intoxicated by drugs and alcohol.
The screening document, titled a “SCREENING TEST for DRUG CLASSES,” shows no detected substances, though some social media users have pointed out a disclaimer indicating that a “not detected” result doesn’t entirely rule out drug presence.
Alongside the test results, Ndhlela issued a strong statement urging the public to “Say NO to making light of drug abuse and YES to saving lives.”
He also shared a letter of demand from his legal team accusing Shivambu of defamation and calling for a public apology and retraction within 48 hours.
This development intensifies the ongoing feud within the MK Party, shining a spotlight on the high-stakes battle for reputation and influence.
