Letsitele, Limpopo β A massive manhunt is underway in the Mopani District after three awaiting-trial murder suspects escaped from the Letsitele police cells in the early hours of June 24, 2025, at approximately 05h35.
The escapees have been identified as:
- Patrick Mbombi
- Thabo Moye Makgopa
- Javas Mongwe
All three men were in custody on murder charges and are considered dangerous and potentially armed.
