EFF’s Floyd Shivambu has fiercely condemned President Cyril Ramaphosa’s commission of inquiry into the Mkhwanazi allegations, branding it a “scam” and a factional tactic aimed at delaying justice.
Shivambu warns the inquiry will drag on for months, bogged down in technicalities, enabling implicated officials like Senzo Mchunu to evade accountability—and potentially be redeployed elsewhere within government.
Insisting that South Africans deserve real justice, Shivambu demands immediate suspensions and criminal investigations, rejecting what he calls a lengthy, ineffective inquiry designed to shield wrongdoers rather than expose them.
