Popular Durban DJ Cndo’s year has started on a troubling note after her laptop was stolen on Monday at Glenwood Spar in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The loss is particularly significant as the device contains crucial personal and professional data. In an effort to recover the laptop, DJ Cndo has announced a reward of R5000 for any information that leads to its safe return. She made the appeal on Instagram, urging the public to come forward with any details.

β€œI am offering a reward of R5000 for any information that helps us get this device back. If you have any knowledge of its whereabouts, please contact us as soon as possible,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude for any assistance. Given the sensitive nature of the stolen data, DJ Cndo has opted not to disclose specifics about how the theft occurred and has instead directed inquiries to her manager, Phila Man Beats.

This incident is the latest in a series of high-profile thefts involving musicians and media personalities. Last year, DJ Tira experienced a similar blow when thieves targeted the Afrotainment headquarters in Morningside, Durban. The robbers made off with musical instruments, sound systems, and speakers valued at thousands of rand. Despite offering a R20,000 reward, the stolen items were never recovered.

DJ Tira described the break-in as a well-planned heist, highlighting the growing concern over thefts targeting those in the entertainment industry. As for DJ Cndo, she remains hopeful that the public will assist in recovering her vital laptop and the sensitive information it contains.
