Reality Star Dipuo Maloi Celebrates Yummy Mummy’s Nomination at Soweto Tourism Awards

Dipuo Maloi, the reality TV star and entrepreneur behind the Yummy Mummy brand, is celebrating a major milestone with her nomination for Best Local Clothing Brand at the prestigious Soweto Tourism Awards. The awards honor businesses in the vibrant community of Soweto, and Dipuo’s brand has been recognized for its growing influence. β€œI’m excited and feel blessed to have my brand finally recognized. The support I’ve received confirms that hard work, patience, and faith lead to success,” Dipuo shared.

Yummy Mummy is competing against well-established brands like Thesis Lifestyle, Ntozinhle, Usiiku Creations, and Shinobi. Despite the strong competition, Dipuo remains confident and embraces the challenge. β€œI love healthy competition,” she said, though she admits her main concern is the uncertainty of the results. The nomination has served as a powerful motivator, driving her to work harder and expand her business.

Dipuo sees the potential victory as a pivotal moment in her career. β€œIf I win, it will be the first of many achievements to come,” she said. The recognition is not just a personal triumph but also a signal that her journey is heading in the right direction. She encourages her supporters to continue voting, as voting is free and open daily until 21 February.

Despite facing criticism from some of her fellow Sports Wives cast members in the past, Dipuo remains proud of her accomplishments. β€œSome tried to discredit my brand out of jealousy, but I know my worth,” she stated confidently. The awards ceremony will take place on 27 February at the Soweto Theatre in Jabulani, Soweto, where Dipuo hopes to take home the coveted title.
