Luzuko Mashalaba, a former contestant on Big Brother Mzansi Season 5, has shared his thoughts on his unexpected exit from the show on Sunday, February 9. Although he was eliminated with the lowest votes among his fellow housemates, Luzuko remains focused on his dreams and is determined to make his mark in the entertainment industry. His journey, he says, has always been driven by a desire to secure a better future for his mother.
Reflecting on his time in the Big Brother house, Luzuko admitted he was disappointed to leave with the least votes but acknowledged that “people voted the way they voted.” Despite the setback, his resolve to succeed is unwavering. His primary goal had always been to win the R2 million prize to provide for his mother, but now, outside the house, he is setting his sights on broader ambitions.

Luzuko plans to dive into the worlds of business, acting, and modelling, and is also focused on growing his presence on social media. He hopes to collaborate with former Big Brother housemates such as Khosi Twala, Libho, Sinaye, and Yolanda, with the aim of building meaningful connections and exploring future opportunities.
Remaining positive despite his eviction, Luzuko believes that everything happens for a reason. “God opens doors for a reason. This platform is just the beginning,” he said, expressing optimism about his future and the opportunities ahead.
