A disturbing video has been circulating on social media, showing a KwaZulu-Natal man covered in blood, confessing to the alleged murder of his ex-girlfriend. The chilling footage, which has since been deleted from the suspect’s Facebook page, has left the community reeling in shock.
The incident is believed to have occurred in Umzinto, an area outside of Durban, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The suspect, identified as Sbusiso Lawrence Ntaka, allegedly shared a photo of his ex-girlfriend’s lifeless body on Facebook, with visible stab wounds on her neck.
In the disturbing video, Ntaka seemingly justifies his actions, claiming that the victim had “toyed” with him, fallen pregnant with another man’s child, and eventually dumped him. He speaks in isiZulu, stating that he had worked hard to make the woman happy, losing “lots of money” and “everything” in the process.

The Women for Change non-profit organization has released a statement condemning the alleged incident, expressing horror that social media platforms had not removed the content. The organization urges people not to share the disturbing footage, emphasizing that it disrespects the victim and her family while contributing to further trauma for those affected.
Reports have emerged that Ntaka is a teacher at Ziphozethu Primary School in KwaDukuza, KZN. He is expected to appear in court soon. This is a developing story.
