South African DJ and podcaster Gogo Shotheni has officially ended her partnership with Cavo Lounge, marking an emotional and transformative new chapter in her life and career. Known offstage as Tumi Motsoeneng, Gogo shared the heartfelt decision on Instagram on June 8, 2025, explaining how this change came amid her spiritual journey from a traditional healer to a devout God-fearing woman.

In her post, Gogo wrote, “A Very Personal Announcement: I’m no longer in partnership with Cavo. While that chapter has come to an end, it sparked something powerful in me, the courage to start from scratch and build something of my own.”

The exciting next step? Gogo Shotheni is set to open her very own club this August — right in her hometown of Frankfort, Free State, where her family roots run deep. She described the new venture as more than a business: “This is more than just a business; it’s personal. It’s legacy. It’s home.”

She invited fans and supporters to follow the journey via the page @haa.gogo, promising behind-the-scenes insights as she builds her dream club from the ground up.

Gogo’s decision has inspired many, with followers flooding her social media with well wishes as she embarks on this deeply personal and empowering project. For Gogo, this new club isn’t just a venue — it’s a symbol of heritage, resilience, and a lasting legacy in the South African club scene.
