A 38-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, 08 June, after being caught with a suspected stolen vehicle on the N1 South, near Polokwane.
The arrest followed a tip-off that led the Limpopo Provincial Flying Squad to intercept a white Toyota Cross reported stolen in Rustenburg. With the assistance of private security and a tracking company, authorities managed to locate the vehicle, which was found with false registration plates.
Upon verification, it was confirmed that the Toyota Cross was indeed listed as stolen by Rustenburg police. The suspect was taken into custody, and the vehicle was recovered.
This successful operation highlights the continued efforts of law enforcement to tackle vehicle theft and ensure stolen goods are returned to their rightful owners.
